All sales to end customers and resellers will be handled through our online shop. As well as the order process, this is conducted by our online reseller cleverbridge AG. Payment processing and order fulfillment are done by cleverbridge AG, Gereonstr. 43-65, 50670 Cologne, Germany.
The messageconcept customer support remains your direct contact for all questions regarding the licensing and distribution of our products and services.
If you are a Non-German company, based in European Union, please do not forget to fill your VAT ID in the purchase order to avoid German tax. Please confirm the acceptance the cleverbridge GTC and the messageconcept EULA in your order. Neither cleverbridge nor messageconcept won’t accept any other conditions.
After acceptance of your PO you will receive an invoice, due within 14 days. We will also send you a temporary license key immediately. This key allows you to work with the software for 30 days. The production key will be send after receiving your payment.
By default, our global distribution partner will send you an order confirmation with all payment details after receiving your order and a formal invoice with receiving the payment. If you require an invoice before payment, just select “wire transfer” in the order process and request the invoice by email.
All prices on our website are net prices. The online shop automatically calculates VAT, if applicable. Non-German companies, based in European Union, are able to avoid German tax by filling their VAT ID in the quote request. If you have further questions regarding tax calculation, our sales team might be able to support you.
Yes, we do. Resellers for our software are always welcome. Please contact our sales team to get more information about reseller prices.
If you resell our software, it is very important to use the end customer’s name, address and email address in the section “Licensee Address” in our online shop, because this data will be used for the license key generation.
The number of licenses automatically reduces the price of our products. That’s why you get the best price available by default. Additional discounts are available for some non-profit and educational organizations only.
Remote control sessions are provided for all evaluation and maintenance customers. The sessions are recommended to be scheduled in advance. If you need remote support, you will be required to download our preconfigured TeamViewer Remote Control Tool for Windows, Mac OS X or Linux.
As most of our products are based on Microsoft servers, we help you to connect to various Microsoft products. But we do not offer isolated consulting services for non-messageconcept products. We might be able to recommend a local partner in your country on request.
Licenses are purchased with a one-time fee and include a perpetual right to use the software. You get all updates and support by phone, email and remote sessions by subscribing to a maintenance subscription. If you cancel the maintenance subscription, the licenses will be still valid, but you won’t get any updates or support.
License Subscriptions are paid annually. They include your right to use the software and to receive maintenance (all updates and support by phone, email and remote sessions). If you cancel a license subscription, you will lose your right to use the software.
There is no technical difference between Licenses and License Subscriptions.
Maintenance subscriptions cost 25% of the license price per year. If you decide to pay for three years in advance, the price lowers to 20% of the license price per year. For details please calculate the license in our online shop.
The ExSBR Business Edition is a special offer for small and medium businesses to integrate custom message routing based on SMTP domains and AD Group memberships in a single-server Exchange Server environment with up to 250 mailboxes.
ExSBR Standard and Enterprise Editions are scalable to support huge and complex Exchange Server environments and support message routing by all message criteria, available in Exchange Transport Rules. The Enterprise Edition additionally supports multi-tenant organizations.
Limitations and Features | Roles
Total Number of Mailboxes in the Exchange Organization
Total Number of Exchange Servers in the Exchange Organization
Total Number of Exchange Servers with local ExSBR Agent installation
1 to 6
Total Number of Routing Rules
Routing by Sender’s SMTP Domains
Routing by Sender’s Active Directory Group Memberships
Routing by Transport Rule Criteria
Supported on Exchange Mailbox and Hub Transport Servers
The ExSBR Enterprise Edition comes with unlimited servers for an entire Exchange Server Organization. If you install ExSBR on Edge Transport Servers, the Enterprise Edition is valid for one group of Edge Servers, sharing the same configuration set.
You need one ExSBR server license per Exchange Server, you install and activate our ExSBR transport agent on.
If you do have a cold stand-by server, where you install ExSBR, but disable the transport agent, you won't need a license. In this case, the cold-standby server must not be a member of the "ExSBR Servers" group in Active Directory.
Please note: The ExSBR Business Edition is supported in single server environments only. If you have more than one Exchange Server in your Exchange organization, you will need to purchase at least ExSBR Standard Edition.
The number of mailboxes is unlimited in the Standard Edition and the Enterprise Edition of ExSBR.
For the limitation of the ExSBR Business Edition, we count the total number of all mailboxes in your Exchange organization. If you have more mailboxes, than supported with the Business Edition, you will need to purchase at least ExSBR Standard Edition.
Please copy the license key file(s) to the license key directory below the ExSBR program directory. If you are upgrading from an evaluation license, remove the evaluation key from the directory.
Please create the universal distribution group "ExSBR Servers" in Active Directory, if the group does not yet exist. Add the server with ExSBR to that group. ExSBR will check the group membership to activate its license.
After that, you should reload the configuration, e.g. by restarting the Exchange Transport Service.
If you migrate an Exchange organization to a new version or server, you temporarily might require more licenses than purchased. In this case, an evaluation license will allow you to run the old and new server(s) in parallel for 30 days.
One user license is needed for each person with at least one device, application or other CardDAV- or LDAP-client, that is connected to PeopleSync. There is no difference in the required amount of access licenses between license purchase and license subscription.
Client Access Licenses can be flexibly used as User Licenses or Device Licenses. Example: If your edition comes with 100 Client Access Licenses, you can use them for example as 100 User Licenses OR as 90 User Licenses plus 10 Device Licenses OR as 100 Device Licenses.
A user with multiple devices needs a single User License. Examples: An employee with an office phone, an iPhone and an iPad needs one PeopleSync User License only. A user with a BlackBerry and a CardDAV-enabled email client needs also just one User License.
If multiple users share a user account for Active Directory authentication, each user will need one User License . Example: 100 people, using the same username and password on their devices, will require 100 User CALs for PeopleSync.
Multiple users, working on the system with dedicated user environments, will need one PeopleSync User License per user. A good example is a server based computing scenario: 100 users on several terminal servers with CardDAV-enabled mail clients will require 100 PeopleSync User Licenses.
Each shared device, e.g. an office phone in a meeting room, needs its own PeopleSync Device License, if it is connected to PeopleSync via LDAP or CardDAV. This is a typical example for the usage of access licenses as Device CALs.
Because PeopleSync is distributed in packages of 50, 100, 250 ... users, please select the next larger license.
Please copy the license key file(s) to the license key directory below the PeopleSync program directory. If you are upgrading from an evaluation license, remove the evaluation key from the directory. PeopleSync will automatically detect the key(s) with next synchronization cycle.
