messageconcept is a software startup focusing on add-on solutions for Active Directory, Windows Server, Exchange Server and Microsoft Office. The common aim of all products is a higher efficiency of Microsoft infrastructures.

Our first product is messageconcept ExSBR – Sender Based Routing for Exchange Server, a transport agent for Exchange Server. The product was developed in 2008 and has been taken over by messageconcept in June 2010. In the last years we developed the software product messageconcept PeopleSync to integrate the major smartphone platforms Google Android, Apple iOS, Windows Phone and BlackBerry with different server systems and databases.

Our company sells its software to customers in all global regions. Our top 5 markets are the USA, Canada, the UK, Germany and Western Europe. Customers range from SMBs up to global corporations. Main industries are IT providers, financial institutions, insurance companies, healthcare and authorities.

Cologne was founded by the Romans around birth of Christ. With a little more than one million inhabitants Cologne is the largest city both in the German Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia and within the Rhine-Ruhr Metropolitan Area. Cologne is located on both sides of the Rhine River. The city's famous Cologne Cathedral is the seat of the Catholic Archbishop of Cologne and part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Besides the University of Cologne, one of Europe's oldest and largest universities, the city hosts over a dozen other colleges and universities.

Cologne is a major cultural centre of the Rhineland and has a vibrant arts scene. Cologne is home to more than 30 museums and hundreds of galleries. Exhibitions range from local ancient Roman archeological sites to contemporary paintings and sculptures. During the heart of the Cologne carnival season public life stops for a few days and the whole city parties in all pubs and streets.
